Job Purpose:

Responsible for analyzing and interpreting past and future business performance through financial reporting. Communicate findings and impacts effectively to customers and management. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive support to a broad customer group and has an aptitude for learning new technologies and applying them to improve processes within the reporting and accounting teams.

Analyst:

Helps implement solutions by reviewing data, determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners. They assist with the business case, organizing requirements, translating and simplifying requirements, and requirements analysis. Analysts may also use requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Finance organization to provide Accounting and Finance guidance to customers.
  • Accurately develop, maintain and discuss various reports with the reporting team.
  • Provide analysis and explain results to clients.
  • Build relationships with assigned clients and provide requested support.
  • Ensure understanding of the systems/processes for the business areas supported.
  • Collaborate with others in a team setting, either directly or indirectly.
  • Research new tools and existing tools’ new functionality and evaluate opportunities to apply these capabilities to improve current business processes.
  • Participate in the selection of tools that are appropriate for the reporting area.
  • Evaluate and resolve issues and errors found within our tools, maintaining the credibility and integrity of the data.
  • Utilize various tools, including automation tools, to configure and develop the future process.
  • Collaborate with others in a team setting, either directly or indirectly.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial discipline.
  • Previous experience (1-5 years) in finance or accounting role preferred. (i.e. Internship).
  • Proficient with Microsoft products, such as Excel, Power Query, Access.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and statutory accounting principles (SAP).
  • Effective written and verbal communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvements.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with team members.
  • Familiar with Financial Reporting tools. Workday, Workday Reporting tools (Office Connect) experience preferred.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

 

Base Salary Range:

$83,100.00 - $124,700.00
