Haleon Bangladesh [formerly GSK Bangladesh] is looking for the Expert Marketing Manager for its Bangladesh business based at Dhaka Corporate office to lead the Expert Marketing function. JOB PURPOSE: The Expert Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that ensure sustainable growth of the company’s diverse portfolio. This role involves managing product life cycles, creating marketing campaigns for healthcare professionals (HCPs), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring all promotional activities comply with regulatory and ethical standards. The position requires a blend of scientific understanding, marketing acumen, and strong stakeholder management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Planning & Brand Management

• Develop, implement, and monitor annual marketing strategies and brand plans for assigned therapeutic areas/products.

• Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and identify growth opportunities for products.

• Define product positioning, messaging, and key promotional strategies targeted at healthcare professionals.

• Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product launches, line extensions, and portfolio optimization.

2. Marketing Execution

• Design and implement promotional campaigns, medical education programs, and customer engagement initiatives.

• Develop scientific communication materials, including detailing aids, leave-behinds, digital assets, and CME content.

• Collaborate with medical affairs to ensure accurate, ethical, and compliant medical messaging.

• Utilize digital channels (webinars, e-detailing, CRM, social media where compliant) to enhance HCP engagement.

3. Sales Team Enablement

• Provide the sales force with training, promotional tools, and scientific knowledge to effectively engage HCPs.

• Develop cycle plans, promotional input materials, and field-force incentives aligned with brand objectives.

• Monitor field execution through feedback, joint field visits, and performance reviews.

4. Cross-functional & External Collaboration

• Work closely with Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to pharmaceutical codes of practice.

• Partner with Supply Chain and Finance to ensure product availability and budget control.

• Manage relationships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), HCPs, medical associations, and external agencies.

• Organize and oversee scientific events, conferences, symposia, and round-table discussions.

5. Performance & Financial Management

• Drive achievement of sales, market share, and profitability targets for assigned brands.

• Monitor and analyze performance metrics, market data, and campaign effectiveness.

• Manage brand budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.

• Recommend corrective actions based on market feedback and sales performance

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Pharmacy/Business Administration, or a related field from a reputed University. Having an MBA is a must.

• 12+ years of experience in core Marketing in Pharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years in a leading role with proven brand management exposure

• Working experience in a MNC Pharma will be considered as an added qualification, but not mandatory

• Strong knowledge of industry dynamics, regulations, and ethical marketing practices

• Deep understanding of therapeutic areas relevant to the company’s portfolio. • Demonstrated success in new product launches, HCP engagement, and scientific communication.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a highly competitive market

• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools
