Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Skills Enhancement Center – Workplace Coach (level 3) to support Mechanical training within Manufacturing & Safety in Berkeley, MO!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and instructional training for installation processes specific to mechanical installations, rigging, torque, line handling, and blueprint reading and interpretation
  •  Provide mechanical assembly practice and process expertise
  • Conducts learning requirements analysis and establishes learning objectives
  • Tests delivery environment and establishes system access requirements
  • Conducts customer workplace coaching sessions to improve individual or group performance
  • Deploys development tools and monitors implementation and performance outcomes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment 
  • 3+ years of mechanical experience with as a machinist, mechanic or other mechanical aptitudes
  • Experience with components manufacturing/installation/maintenance
  • Experience interpreting defect data and delivering coaching based on identified trends
  • Completed a blueprint reading class
  • Experience with aircraft unique tools such as support equipment/test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical data
  • Ability to work any shift assigned

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, equivalent work experience, or equivalent military experience
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Experience with coaching one or more individuals at a time and providing feedback 
  • Understanding, interpreting, and delivering specific process driven instruction based on feedback from Manufacturing Operations and Quality 
  • Works well in a collaborative team environment 
  • Has the ability to adjust course in a dynamic shop floor manufacturing environment

Summary pay range: $90,950 – $123,050
