Experienced or Senior Shipside Operations Specialist – LSCC Integrator

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity to an Experienced or Senior Shipside Operations Specialist to join the Metals Production Operations team in Hazelwood, Missouri
This position is fast-paced and dynamic production environment to align the Operations Team with Program Leadership, customer counterparts and cross-functional partners to remove roadblocks and stabilize operations.
Position Responsibilities – Experienced (Level 3):
- Supporting Operations Leadership Team in the deployment of One BPS & Lean Principles.
- Aiding in the development of Oobeya on Program & Maturing the Oobeya process
- Program integration activities (Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management, PMM Preparation, Metrics & Reporting)
- Functional initiative deployment (FOD reduction / Innovation awards / Affordability projects / Kamishibai / etc.)
- Supports the LSCC and FSCC and SAT follow up
- Assists with Continuous improvement and problem solving
- Provides support to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company lean initiatives using Lean methodologies
- Analyzes and interprets data and provides root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues
- Coordinate and facilitate multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues
- Utilize tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure production issues get resolved
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
- Works under general direction

- This position will serve as a lead focal for the Metal Production Operations team
- Executing plans of Operations Leadership Team in the deployment of One BPS & Lean Principles
- Development of Oobeya on Program & Maturing the Oobeya process
- Program integration activities (Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management, PMM Preparation, Metrics & Reporting)
- Functional initiative deployment (FOD reduction / Innovation awards / Affordability projects / Kamishibai / etc.)
- Supports the LSCC and FSCC and SAT follow up
- Drives Continuous improvement and problem solving
- Provides support to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues
- Proactively engage with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company lean initiatives using Lean methodologies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data
- 3+ year of experience implementing Lean methodologies and productivity improvements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years working in a production environment
- Manufacturing Execution Systems – Common Image (MESci) experience
- Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams
- Experience using Shipside Action Tracker

Summary pay range:
Experienced (Level 3) - $78,200 – $105,800 USD
Senior (Level 4) - $95,200– $125,800 USD
