Boeing's Fabrication Estimating team is seeking an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our team in Everett, WA. The Fabrication Estimating team supports interior responsibility center and electrical systems responsibility center to develop estimates for new and sustaining airplane programs. The team also supports the Core Fabrication Estimating team in the development of program level estimates.

The successful candidate will leverage expertise in statistics, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain to develop cost estimates, business cases, price and offer analyses, and support work transfer activities. They will collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, communicate clearly to stakeholders and management, present presentations confidently, and take direction with minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program

  • Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices

  • Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing, and assembles price proposals

  • Develops estimating and pricing methods

  • Evaluates and develops business cases

  • Performs analysis and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

  • Develops and maintains pricing models

  • Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements

  • Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating pricing and proposals

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Estimating, Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • 2+ years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results

  • 2+ years of experience working on a cross-functional team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

  • Experience in technical, operational, or manufacturing environments with demonstrated ability to convert that knowledge into financial opportunities.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $96,900- $131,100
