Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Expense Reimbursement & Card Services Support Associate  role will make an impact:

Support the delivery and execution of the Travel and Expense (T&E) services of the Global Business Services Organization as outlined in the Viatris Global Business Travel Policy. Support communication and issue resolution between our external service providers as well as internal customers.

Ensure all activities are supporting and enhancing the satisfaction of internal and external customers and stakeholders.

Perform job functions in accordance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), federal and state laws, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, health authority regulations, departmental processes and ensures that all Service Level Agreements and KPIs are met.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Answer incoming chats and emails from employees regarding expense reporting, and corporate card issues/requests.

  • Resolve basic, common issues such as expense reporting guidance, password resets, missing receipts, corporate card payment declines, credit limit increases, and credit card application processing, along with other duties that may be assigned.

  • Accurately track all chat and email issues/requests utilizing the Viatris ticketing system.

  • Assign advanced issue resolution to the proper T&E members for resolution via the Viatris ticketing system.

  • Identify complex or recurring issues and escalate to Level 2 support or management as necessary.

  • Provide excellent customer experience by assisting end users with patience and empathy.

  • Provide analytics as requested by T&E Management and/or business

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of corporate travel and expense reimbursement processes.

  • Familiarity with corporate credit card processes.

  • Knowledge of policy compliance and adherence.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work in an international team environment.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Ability to navigate and manage multiple systems, including accounting systems.

  • Operates semi-autonomously.

  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.

  • No prior work experience required.

Licenses / Certifications

  • Concur knowledge is a plus.

Language Skills

  • Fluency in spoken and written English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

  • Additional foreign languages are a plus.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and technical documents.

  • Ability to write detailed reports and professional business correspondence.

  • Ability to communicate complex or ambiguous concepts effectively to managers and directors.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

  • Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.

  • Ability to create and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve complex problems requiring independent judgment and analytical thinking.

  • Ability to draw logical conclusions and apply deductive reasoning in situations without standardized procedures.
