The Global Talent Acquisition Department is responsible for recruiting a wide range of talent to meet the needs of various business divisions, from engineers to business professionals in sales, marketing, and corporate functions, as well as executive-level hires.

Position Details

To accelerate the growth of Rakuten Group, this position leads the entire End-to-End recruitment process for executives and high-class talent, from strategy development and execution to post-hire onboarding. This will also involve establishing relationships with global top 20 B schools (MBA), and managing end to end recruitment activities for senior leadership positions. This position carries a highly critical mission to collectively build the future of Rakuten Group.

Specific Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to formulate and execute recruitment strategies and channel strategies for executive and high-class talent.
- Build and direct relationships with recruitment agencies.
- Manage the recruiting process and reporting.
- Establish and maintain relationships with global top 20 B schools (MBA).
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies specifically for MBA candidates.
- Manage MBA summer internship and full time hiring Activities.

Work Environment

Organization Structure
The team comprises members from their late 20s to 40s, possessing diverse backgrounds. With many foreign national members, communication within the team is conducted in both Japanese and English.

Primarily, they include recruitment specialists from the IT/Web industry (some of whom are former engineers themselves), consultants from the recruitment agency industry, HR/HRBP professionals from other companies, and individuals with recruitment experience at global companies. Mandatory Qualifications:

Job type/Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive and high-class talent acquisition at a corporate company or a headhunting firm.

Skills
- Communication Skills: High-level communication skills to build smooth relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Management Experience: Proven experience in rallying support and successfully leading projects.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify complex problems, logically formulate, and execute solutions.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to successfully negotiate with candidates, recruitment agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- PC Skills: Business-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Language Proficiency
- Japanese: Business level or higher (Native level preferred).
- English: TOEIC score of 800 or higher, or equivalent English proficiency from at least 5 years of practical experience (Business level or higher).

Desired Qualifications:
