Job Description & Requirements

Experience:

Hands-on experience in the end-to-end processing of swift payments
Practical application of knowledge in treasury settlement and data management.
Exposure to real-world financial data and systems used in the investment industry.
Understanding of the lifecycle of a financial event, from announcement to execution and settlement.
Direct involvement in ensuring data accuracy and integrity for financial

Skills

Financial Operations: Developing a strong understanding of payment processing skills and prompt update of static data
Data Management: Proficiency in handling, validating, and updating large sets of static and market data
Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in data entry, reconciliation, and quality control to prevent errors
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
System Proficiency: Gaining familiarity with specialized software and platforms used for corporate reactions processing
Communication: Effective collaboration with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate data updates

Requirements

Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Conceptual Understanding: A foundational knowledge of financial markets and investment instruments, particularly equities and mutual funds
Skills: Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is a plus
Attributes: A highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
