[What the role is]
This executive role is responsible for creating and improving the curriculum and teaching methods used in madrasahs to ensure students receive quality Islamic education. The job involves developing policies for using technology in classrooms and creating assessment methods that meet both national education requirements and Islamic teaching principles.[What you will be working on]
1. Curriculum Review & Enhancement
Lead the continuous review, strengthening, and alignment of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language curricula across madrasahs to ensure relevance, rigour, and coherence with national education expectations.
2. Educational Technology & Digital Enablement
Develop and drive technology adoption frameworks for madrasah education, ensuring digital tools are purposefully integrated to enhance teaching, learning, assessment, and system effectiveness.
3. Assessment & Education Policy Development
Formulate, implement, and review assessment frameworks and education-related policies aligned with national standards, sector priorities, and long-term madrasah development goals.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
Build and manage strategic relationships with government agencies, madrasah leadership, and education partners to advance shared objectives and ensure alignment across the ecosystem.
5. Resource Planning & Strategic Reporting
Oversee the effective planning and utilisation of financial resources, and provide clear, timely strategic updates and recommendations to senior management.
[What we are looking for]
Tertiary education in Education, Islamic Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
Demonstrated interest or experience (academic, internship, or work-based) in curriculum, assessment, education policy, or educational research.
Ability to understand and work with national education standards.
Ability to communicate in Arabic (spoken; reading ability is an advantage) due to the nature of curriculum and assessment policy development which requires reviewing Islamic educational texts and pedagogical sources in Arabic
Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to develop frameworks, papers, and recommendations.
Openness to and basic familiarity with education technology and digital tools.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a professional setting.

Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
