At IMG, our Studios business use content and technology to power the world's passion for sport, working with global clients including The Premier League, The R&A, DP World Tour, Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. We've built Europe's best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park, London, distributing 35,000 hours of content globally and creating some of the world's best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities, with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether it's live coverage, archive, highlights, social media, branded content or feature films, we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.

This is a senior, client facing role to lead the creative and editorial output across live and non-live content production across all EWC 2026, including live outside broadcasts of EWC and ENC; any social / digital content required; broadcast magazine shows; social and digital content; premium short form content plus any other requirements. Alongside this, the EP will be required to support IMG Studios on other productions and future business development.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The Executive Producer on IMG’s Esports production (EWC and ENC) is a senior role responsible for all output for this key client. Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead and oversee all editorial requirement on behalf of the VP Head of Multi-Sports, across live and non-live content.
  • Act as the key, day to day, client facing role, on behalf of IMG.
  • To deliver and ensure live and non-live programmes are on-time and on budget and according to the agreed creative expectations.
  • Drive collaboration with other areas of IMG including, but not limited to, IMG digital and IMG distribution to ensure that the project is delivered efficiently and to meet the requirements of the client and rightholders.
  • To assist in the development of the editorial content and direction of the live and non-live programmes.
  • Oversee and manage teams based both in the UK and KSA.
  • To support the OB (host broadcast coverage) and lead content planning with the EWC/ENC team, Production Manager and technical lead.
  • To support relationships with OB provider working alongside IMG appointed Technical Lead and Production Executive.
  • To help identify and develop new talent both on and off screen, ensuring regular feedback and development – with a key remit to develop the next generation of KSA Production Talent for the EWC and ENC productions.
  • Forward planning, ideas generation and the ability to think creatively and inspire and coach teams to do the same.
  • Promoting a progressive and positive culture within our teams, supporting the values of IMG Media. Collaboration, Excellence, Inclusion, Entrepreneurialism and Persistence.
  • Supporting the Sustainability and D&I initiatives across the department.
  • Manage and empower supporting team of Senior Producers, Producers and Assistant Producers.
  • Build an environment that drives performance and accountability.
  • Work closely with Production Management on the commercial, corporate and client deliverables.
  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
  • To support other productions as required and subject to availability – this could include future Business Development across potential new projects.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience as an Exec Producer or Senior Producer within a major sports television production team.
  • Previous experience of leading and motivating production teams to achieve departmental, business and creative objectives.
  • An extensive portfolio of work covering a variety of sports production.
  • Proven ability to create original ideas and produce compelling content

  • Relevant and up-to-date production technical (including digital production) workflow analysis

  • An understanding of all the operational and logistical requirements of live television studio and live OB on-site programming.
  • Experience of dealing with Onscreen Talent (e.g. Presenters, Commentators, Sports Personalities).
  • Understanding of employment law, contract and copyright, conditions of service, equal opportunities, corporate social responsibility, ethical position on doing business and health and safety at work.
  • Experience of Outside Broadcast Production.
  • Experience of managing key client relationships at a senior level.
  • Experience of working in the region.
  • Ability to deliver against challenging deadlines.
  • Strong market knowledge.
  • Sound commercial skills with an ability to match editorial and commercial objectives.
  • Understanding of platform technologies.
  • Facilitate and deliver change management.
  • An in-depth knowledge of production market trends, both in sport and non-sport.

Skills and Abilities

  • Planning and logistical skills are essential.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to be flexible as required.
  • An ability to work collectively in a team environment.
  • Good financial understanding / business awareness.
  • Experience managing production teams.
  • Ability to recognise potential and facilitate training and development.
  • Experience of working in the region.
  • Arabic speaker.

Qualifications and Training

  • Previous experience as an established Executive Producer.
  • Relevant and up-to-date production technical knowledge and workflows.
  • Safe Management of Production Health and Safety training.

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances

  • Extended stays in KSA during EWC and ENC.
  • Weekend work and unsocial hours where necessary.
  • Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate.
  • Implementing established and appropriate health and safety protocols and adapting to local laws/regulations.
  • Acclimatizing to a new and diverse working culture/environment.
