The COO Core Foundations Crew is at the centre of the bank’s operational transformation. We deliver foundational, reusable capabilities that enable the shift from traditional banking operations to a modern, technology-driven model.
The Product Owner – Document Verification will lead the design and delivery of an enterprise Document Verification capability, delivered as a COO-operated service and consumed across product journeys. This includes the development of the Agentic Verification Engine, the target platform for document-driven verification and policy application across the Group.
You will own the product vision and roadmap, initially supporting home lending and other lending products, with the potential to scale across broader document verification use cases. The platform will provide two core capabilities: document processing and policy assessment/application.
You will partner with cross-functional teams—including engineering, data, risk, and operations—to deliver a reusable, API-enabled service that integrates seamlessly into customer journeys and returns real-time verification outcomes.
In this role, you will drive the evolution of a scalable, intelligent verification capability that improves accuracy, reduces manual effort, and accelerates decision-making across the bank. You will balance strategic direction with hands-on delivery, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities while maintaining strong execution discipline.

As Product Owner, you will lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change initiatives and lifecycle activities that enable operational transformation at scale. You will drive quarterly prioritisation, manage a dynamic backlog, and define measurable outcomes aligned to strategy and customer needs.
You’ll be accountable for end-to-end value delivery—from shaping strategy and discovery through to production deployment, release coordination, and ongoing optimisation. Your work will directly influence the reuse, scalability and resilience of enterprise platforms that power CBA’s operations.
