At Commonwealth Bank, our purpose is to build a brighter future for all by delivering better outcomes for our customers, communities and economy.

Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the Retail Banking division of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to over 10 million customers. It offers market-leading products and services including home and personal lending, general insurance, and deposits and wealth solutions among others, which are supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.

See yourself in our team

The RBS Portfolio Management and Optimisation team exists to ensure that RBS has the strategy, portfolio, and processes in place to deliver the Group’s vision and enable RBS’s ambitions. It does this by optimising the allocation of delivery capacity and change investment via orchestration of effective planning and prioritisation, and management of delivery performance.

Our team seeks to improve strategic planning processes, performance oversight and scaled agile ways of working. We are actively involved in shaping the future of change management at the Group, including design and implementation of tooling and AI enabled processes.

You’ll be part of a culture that values fun, continuous learning and ongoing development, where people are supported to grow and do their best work.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead enterprise planning, OKR tracking and performance insights, while building and leading senior teams that improve delivery predictability and execution across Retail.

  • Run enterprise‑level governance forums and planning cycles, providing clear structure, cadence and decision support for senior leaders.

  • Deliver decision‑ready performance insights using flow, delivery and risk metrics to spotlight issues and opportunities early.
