Role Overview
The Executive Manager for AI Adoption leads the enterprise-wide strategy to embed AI technologies, tools, and mindsets across all business areas. This role ensures the organisation develops the capability, confidence, and culture to adopt and scale AI responsibly and effectively. The EM oversees programs focused on change management, engagement, and people enablement to drive measurable adoption and maturity improvements across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and lead the enterprise-wide AI Adoption and Engagement Strategy, ensuring alignment with the AI Acceleration Office’s overarching objectives and the organisation’s broader transformation agenda.
Partner with the Group Skilling Crew to design, deliver, and continuously enhance enterprise AI capability uplift programs such as Leading with AI and Working with AI, ensuring they are accessible, practical, and aligned with workforce needs.
Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure adoption, engagement, and change management initiatives are integrated into the rollout of enterprise AI programs and tools.
Develop and implement organisation-wide change management and engagement frameworks that promote awareness, trust, and confidence in AI while ensuring employees understand its purpose, benefits, and safe application.
Work closely with Change & Communications COEs, HR, and Learning & Development partners to deliver coordinated communication, learning, and engagement experiences that foster behavioural change and long-term adoption.
Establish and oversee forums that monitor adoption progress, track workforce engagement, and ensure leadership visibility of adoption performance and challenges.
Develop and maintain clear measurement frameworks to track AI maturity, adoption rates, engagement levels, and capability growth across the organisation.
Engage with external partners and benchmarking bodies (such as Evident) to assess the organisation’s AI maturity, identify improvement areas, and share best practices.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation by championing AI success stories, supporting internal communities of practice, and promoting the responsible and impactful use of AI across the enterprise.
By executing these responsibilities, you will ensure the successful acceleration and adoption of AI initiatives across the group, helping to deliver measurable impact at scale.
About You:
Strong leadership and enterprise change and transformation management expertise – Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale organisational change initiatives, influencing at executive and operational levels to drive sustained behavioural and cultural adoption of AI.
Experience delivering transformation and adoption at scale – Proven success in implementing multi-stream transformation programs that embed new technologies, practices, and capabilities across diverse and complex organisational environments.
Deep understanding of AI applications, workforce capability, and change readiness – Comprehensive knowledge of how AI tools, platforms, and automation technologies impact roles, skills, and workflows, with the ability to assess and enhance workforce readiness.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic communication skills – Skilled in developing and executing communication strategies that build trust, transparency, and enthusiasm for AI; adept at managing relationships across senior leadership, HR, technology, and operational teams.
Analytical ability to interpret adoption data and design improvement actions – Capable of leveraging adoption metrics, engagement feedback, and maturity assessments to identify trends, measure success, and inform targeted interventions that improve adoption and business value.
Collaborative and Inquisitive mindset – demonstrated experience working with cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams to investigate, problem solve and implement strategic technological solutions
Success in this role will depend on the ability to embed AI adoption as a sustained, measurable element of organisational culture—transforming awareness and curiosity into capability and confidence across all levels of the workforce. The role must demonstrate strong leadership in driving change through clear communication, coordinated engagement programs, and evidence-based adoption strategies that deliver tangible business outcomes. True success will be achieved when AI is consistently understood, trusted, and used effectively across the organisation, supported by high levels of employee capability, engagement, and advocacy.
