NIE invites suitable applicants for an Executive position in the Finance Department.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will support financial and general administrative functions, including the following:

  • Administer NIE’s procurement processes, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.  

  • Manage tendering and post-tender activities, including publication, evaluation, award, contract variations and extensions, tracking project timelines, and maintaining records of insurance policies and security deposits.

  • Work closely with the Reporting Officer to improve finance and procurement processes, including developing and documenting procedures and workflows.

  • Handle financial accounting responsibilities for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders as required.

  • Provide administrative support in other finance and procurement-related functions when necessary.

Requirements

  • A Polytechnic Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or its equivalent.

  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in finance or procurement.

  • Strong customer-oriented mindset. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work well in a team.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to timelines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of SAP and Ariba would be an added advantage.
