[What the role is]
You will be part of a project team working closely with the appointed consultant and stakeholders on the development of the Integrated Waste Management Facility Phase 2 (IP2), Mechanical Technical Team (MTT) – a large-scale waste management infrastructural project.[What you will be working on]
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
Review and evaluate technical design submissions for mechanical equipment and process systems such as waste handling cranes, incinerators, boilers, steam turbine-generators, flue gas treatments, and ash handling.
Work closely with the consultant, relevant agencies and authorities to oversee the construction and commissioning of IWMF Phase 2 project
Prepare tender documents, call and execute contract management such as verify and process progress payments, and monitor and manage budget
Lead a technical team to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities when IWMF Phase 2 is in operational stage
[What we are looking for]
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 2 years of relevant experience in waste-to-energy facilities preferred, though candidates without experience will be considered.
Responsible, committed, resourceful, and a good team player
Good interpersonal communication, presentation and writing skills
Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, when required during the commissioning and operational stages of IWMF Phase 2.
