What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Vice President of Wealth IE Digital, Marketing, and Communications, acting as the strategic lead in the design, development, and execution of CIBCs Private Wealth Signature Events (HNW and Family Office), expert showcases (roadshows and events), key partnership activations leveraging CIBCs suite of sponsorships, CGAM advisory events including annual due diligence conferences, CGAM bespoke institutional expert event, CGAM annual Institutional Investor Day, Next and Rising Generational national experiences, Investors Edge/Premium Edge events and strategic consultation on Wood Gundy advisor conferences and recognition (NBC, Chairmans, Executives, and Presidents), and the management and evolution of our wealth brand requirements leveraging the enterprise framework. He/she will provide insight, consultation and support to the Private Wealth Leadership team to utilize these events and experience to drive growth of Wealth Management. The Executive Director, Experiences and Events Strategy will be an excellent communicator and advance in stakeholder management skills, and also works closely with all CIBC Wealth Sales and Product, Business Controls, IT, Security and Risk Management and other cross-functional departments to ensure proper processes, analytics and reporting, infrastructure, privacy and technological requirements are met.
As the Executive Director, Wealth Brand, Experience and Events Marketing, you will require advanced knowledge of marketing principles (such as content strategies), brand design principles within different delivery channels, events, sponsorships and strategic experience development, as well as advanced communications and relationship-building skills. Under the direction of the Vice President of Wealth Digital, Marketing, and Communications, he/she will be responsible for developing and executing events and initiatives in alignment with Sales/Marketing focus. He/she will lead the Experience and Events team in the project management and strategic development, for the full experience management including pre and post elements of the experience and leveraging corporate teams for support such as facilities. Organization skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate duties are imperative.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $136,680 to $186,680.
The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.
In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.
