The Role:

 

You will lead a team of performance specialists focussing on brand awarness across programmatic, direct display and paid social, and you will have a depth of specialism and hands on planning & buying experience in at least one of those channels.

 

This is a highly client-facing role, where you will use your depth and breadth of experience to effectively and efficiently solve client challenges.

 

Your role will be to lead various workstreams across the channels, including innovation, measurement, annual planning, partner negotiations and management, and to lead those performance client relationships. You will also be responsible for line managing the channel managers; and coaching them through managing their teams. You will report into the Executive Director; and will be responsible for deploying and realizing their workstreams, with their support.

 

You will be responsible for managing, developing and upskilling a regional team of digital specialists and beyond Tinder, you will be a leader within the Performance Community, and will have the opportunity to support in new business pitches, team training, and to mentor and support more junior colleagues.

 

This role will appeal to someone who is passionate about the future of our industry, and loves working with big, exciting cultural brands, and has knowledge across the breadth of digital channels to create data informed & strategic plans, alongside leading the team in activating and optimising those plans in the best possible way, across a range of objectives spanning brand and eCommerce.

 

Specific areas of responsibilities involve:

 

· Key stakeholder management across Tinder team

· Direct management of Director, Performance and support in management of their team of Performance specialists

· Connection and collaboration across the local countries

· Defining the key priorities and workstreams for Tinder at a regional level, and collaborating with the countries to translate and deploy

· Driving connection and knowledge sharing between the different OMC teams and agencies for Tinder across the markets

· Additionally, you will be a part of the OMD EMEA Performance Community leadership, helping define our key priorities as an agency, contributing to internal priorities, workstreams and knowledge sharing

 

 

Skills and experience requirements:

 

· Years of demonstrable experience managing digital media

· Proven ability to independently manage multiple departments and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

· Knowledge of media agency ecosystem

· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Proven background in performance media, with expertise across paid search, paid social, programmatic, direct display and ecommerce, with a depth of specialism in at least one

· Activation experience, coupled with strategic expertise

· Excellent team management

· Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment, manage and influence key stakeholders including executive team members to ensure successful project deployment and delivery

· You will be expected to have international experience, having a good degree of familiarity with local market nuances and ven-dors.

· You will be very comfortable managing relationships with clients and colleagues, and will have experience managing a team of specialists, working with them to ensure efficiency of output and quality of work.

· Whilst you may not have been hands on within all of the digital channels, you will have specialised in one field and understand the work required to activate digital campaigns.

· Experience in driving JBPs with key media partners and coaching the team to select the right partners based on strategic goals of the client is required.

· You will help the client shape their digital measurement agenda supporting Tinder in connecting KPIs to business ourcomes.

· We are looking to you to be a leader in the performance team, overseeing output of the department for your clients

· You will need to have a solid understanding of the basic principles within all paid for digital channels (Programmatic Video & Display, Search, Social, Affiliates, eCommerce).

· You will need to have an understanding of the Ad-Tech ecosystem with a particular focus on delivery of creative message and tracking via an adserver

· You will need to have a understanding of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture

· You will have experience planning digital campaigns across paid for channels and an understanding of audience generation/se-lection (via 3rd parties) or collection (via adserver/pixel/DMP etc)

· You will have an understanding of the role of publishers and/or technology platforms widely used across paid for digital media channels

· You will have an in depth understanding of KPI selection within paid for digital media channels

· You will have an understanding of bid management platforms and how they can help optimise within channel

· You will have experience managing people and developing their careers through an in-depth learning program.

· You will have experience activating media and therefore an understanding of best practice across campaign setup, QA, report-ing, insight generation and finance

· You will have an understanding of brand safety and fraud prevention techniques

· You will own the media plan for performance channels - challenging the client/client team where required and managing the team to deliver strategic excellence, effective testing and operationally viable output

· You will ensure the relevant team members across your team engaged and delivering the highest possible quality of work.

For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
