Be the trusted partner to our Regional Managing Director of Weir Minerals APAC and the Regional Finance Director of Weir APAC!

In this pivotal role, you’ll provide high‑level executive, secretarial and administrative support that enables our senior leaders to deliver strategic and business objectives.

You’ll be at the centre of the APAC regional leadership agenda—shaping calendars, conversations and outcomes across the business. You’ll collaborate widely, gain unique exposure to strategic decision‑making, and play a visible role in supporting our growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high level executive support, including the coordination of visits, preparing travel itineraries, reviewing incoming emails, handling requests and providing scheduling advice, expense management and processing, and high-level calendar management.

  • Monitor workflow approvals for travel, capex, employment requisitions, pay authorisations, gifts and hospitality, annual leave, expenses, credit notes, and purchase orders.

  • Act as the principal contact point for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage confidential and sensitive documentation with appropriate discretion.

  • Alert the leaders to matters requiring immediate attention and escalate those issues in their absence, in conjunction with senior staff.

  • Correspondence on behalf of the RMD and RFD, including company-wide notices.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a senior Executive Assistant role within a global business.

  • Advanced communication skills - clear written and verbal communication with the ability to present to groups.

  • Strong planning and organisation: prioritising, scheduling, and coordinating multiple stakeholders and tasks. Professionalism, adaptability and dependability—calm under pressure, responsive, and accountable.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills.

  • Sound reasoning, numeracy and attention to detail.

  • Proven experience in managing confidential information with the utmost discretion.
