About the role
The Executive Assistant to the CEO is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Office of the CEO at RMIT UP by providing high-level administrative and secretarial support. Key responsibilities include managing communications with stakeholders, coordinating the CEO's schedule and travel arrangements, and providing operational support to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. The role will involve flexible work arrangements and occasional out-of-hours support. Additionally, you will act as the Committee Secretariat for various RMIT UP Committees.
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive professional with a demonstrated ability to support senior executives in a fast-paced environment. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
You bring:
Extensive experience providing executive-level administrative, secretarial support and committee secretariat support.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
A collaborative and flexible approach, with the confidence to work independently and take initiative where needed.
Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including minute-taking and preparation of professional and Committee documentation.
High-level digital literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Teams.
