Greenhouse is searching for a Principal Product Manager, MyGreenhouse to own the candidate-facing product experience for an entirely new side of our business — and to build a product that changes how millions of people find jobs.

Greenhouse is the industry-leading hiring platform trusted by thousands of companies to structure and optimize how they hire. MyGreenhouse is our bold bet on the other side of hiring: the jobseeker. We're building intelligent tools to support jobseekers throughout their search – to make hiring work for everyone. You'll own the roadmap for the candidate-facing product, establish entirely new discovery and feedback loops with a user base Greenhouse has never directly served, and build AI-powered experiences that make hiring more trusted, efficient, and human — all while contributing to the broader MyGreenhouse vision alongside a dedicated leadership team. If you've been looking for a role where you can combine startup-level ownership with the reach and resources of an established platform, this is it.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management (MyGreenhouse), you'll work at the intersection of consumer product, marketplace dynamics, and cutting-edge AI alongside dedicated Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing partners.

Who will love this job

  • A builder – You have a proven track record of taking products from concept to scale. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and know how to find signal in noise when there's no playbook.
  • An AI-native practitioner – You use AI to fundamentally accelerate how you do product management from discovery to delivery. You stay on the frontier and bring others along with you.
  • A B2C product thinker – You deeply understand high-volume, self-serve, low-touch consumer platforms. You think in terms of funnels, engagement loops, activation flows, and retention mechanics.
  • A force multiplier – You raise the bar beyond your own product. You coach other PMs on AI-native practices, shape how the broader product org works, and serve as a thought partner to R&D and Product leadership on how to level up.
  • A decisive, data-driven leader – You use data and rapid experimentation to make high-quality decisions at velocity. You have strong product sense and the conviction to push back on senior leaders when the evidence points a different direction.
  • Relentlessly curious about users – You are motivated by deeply understanding user behavior and building products that genuinely improve people's lives. You will pioneer Greenhouse's first-ever direct relationship with jobseekers.

What you’ll do

  • Own the product roadmap for the candidate-facing MyGreenhouse experience — define what we build for jobseekers, why, and in what order, grounded in user insight, data, and strategic alignment with the broader MyGreenhouse vision and Greenhouse's business objectives
  • Build and ship AI-powered experiences for jobseekers — develop agentic AI solutions that solve real problems for candidates
  • Establish a consumer growth engine — define and optimize growth loops from acquisition through activation and retention, using rapid A/B testing, funnel analysis, and data-driven experimentation to hit aggressive adoption targets
  • Pioneer a new discovery motion with jobseekers — build the research, feedback, and insight infrastructure to create a continuous learning loop between users and the product
  • Shape the broader MyGreenhouse vision — serve as a key thought partner to MyGH leadership, the Product Management Leadership Team, and the CEO on where MyGreenhouse is headed, bringing deep product sense and user insight to the strategic conversation
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing — work closely with your triad and GTM partners to align on technical feasibility, design excellence, and go-to-market strategy
  • Elevate the product org's AI capabilities — model and teach AI-native PDLC best practices across the PM team; serve as a key thought partner to the R&D leadership team on Greenhouse's overall AI product strategy
  • Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve

You should have

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in B2C or consumer environments
  • Demonstrated success building, either at a startup or launching a net-new product line within an established company
  • Deep experience with high-volume, self-serve consumer platforms — you understand the dynamics of low-touch onboarding, product-led growth, engagement loops, conversion optimization, and marketplace mechanics
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML-powered products that generated measurable user value
  • Mastery of experimentation and growth practices — A/B testing, funnel optimization, behavioral analytics, and data-informed prioritization are second nature to you
  • Strong product sense and strategic thinking — you know what to build next and can articulate a compelling "why" to executives, engineers, and cross-functional partners alike
  • Exceptional communication skills — you win hearts and minds across diverse stakeholders and can educate and influence senior leaders with clarity and conviction
  • Proven ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments — you make good decisions fast, stay resilient through setbacks, and keep teams oriented toward outcomes
  • Experience with AI-native product development workflows and tools (e.g., AI-assisted prototyping, vibe coding, AI-driven user research synthesis)
