Job Overview

Coursera is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to partner with the SVP of Global Enterprise Sales and support the Enterprise Business. This is a high-visibility role that requires a strong attention to detail, flexibility, keen insight and resourcefulness, and the ability to multi-task and juggle projects with aggressive deadlines. You will support a member of the Executive team primarily remotely, and may be asked to travel in for specific events ; in addition, you will interact with all individuals across Coursera -- if you’re looking for a truly cross-functional and impactful role, this would be it! 

 

Responsibilities

  • Own Executive Team Members calendaring, meeting prioritization, planning and coordination for off-site meetings and team events, booking travel and accommodations; attending team meetings as requested, and other tasks as assigned by the Executive(s). 
  • Provide support to the Global Enterprise leadership team for proof reading communications and presentations, drafting team wide emails, running all hands meetings, managing awards and recognition, keeping distribution lists up to date, taking note and capturing actions for follow up meetings or communications. 
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to all forms of communication (email, Slack, text, verbal, phone) 
  • Correspondence and scheduling with internal and external contacts 
  • Strategically manage the Executive's schedule and prioritize and filter incoming requests to ensure optimal use of time and focus on high-priority initiatives. 
  • Use clear, deliberate, consistent judgment in decision making
  • Highly autonomous and proactive. Must be able to make decisions and work independently with little to no supervision. Not just a task executor
  • Proactively manage and optimize the Executive Travel, Calendar and Correspondences with care and handling internal and external scheduling and correspondence.
  • Own the coordination and execution of defined small-scale projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain absolute discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and highly confidential business and personnel information.
  • This role is primarily remote, with the occasional requirement for travel as necessary to meet business objectives and key performance indicators.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in an executive support role for a public company with 1000+ employees with experience scheduling meetings, managing projects and event planning. 
  • Experience managing and understanding executive goals and strategic plans 
  • Experience prioritizing conflicting needs
  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and complete assignments quickly 
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to upholding the highest standards of confidentiality for all executive, business, and proprietary data.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling highly confidential information 
  • Proactive, with attention to detail, organizational skills, dependability, and follow-through 
  • Clear written and verbal communication with internal employees and external vendors and contacts
  • Approachable, resourceful, a creative problem-solver, quick on your feet, out-of-the-box thinker
  • Maturity and confidence when dealing with executives at the highest level in the company
  • Experience using Google Suite in an office environment. Experience with Workday, Slack, Zoom, Egencia, a plus.

 

Compensation

This role is available in the following US Pay Zones:
US Zone 3: $121,000 - $143,000
US Zone 4: $113,000 - $133,000
