About the Role:

If you are energized by supporting senior leadership, coordinating complex priorities, and enabling smooth execution across a regional organization, this role could be for you.

In this role, you will support the VP & General Manager, Consumer Audio EMEA, serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership and the wider EMEA commercial organization. The position blends executive support with the coordination of core business and operational activities.

Based at the European HQ in Amsterdam, you will help ensure smooth day‑to‑day office operations while allowing leadership to focus on strategic execution.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage a complex and dynamic executive calendar.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, ground transport and visa.
  • Prepare and compose basic correspondence, reports, and presentations following manager’s instructions for internal and external purposes.
  • Organize and support incoming internal and external visitors with arranging visas, welcome letters and other necessary documents.
  • Submit expense reports on behalf of manager, approve and/or deny reports on behalf of manager according to HARMAN policies and guidelines.
  • Plan, organize, and attend EMEA Management Team meetings across on‑site and off‑site formats. Manage agendas, meeting materials, logistics, and participant communications, and ensure timely follow‑up on agreed actions.
  • Manage invoice processing by checking and approving incoming invoices and, if necessary, arranging for corrections to invoices including supplier communication.
  • Support the EMEA Management Team with basic administrative and operational tasks.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Act as a liaison and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, such as employees, customers, and partners ensuring clear and effective communication.

What You Need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a global organization, supporting senior executives and commercial teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting leadership with the creation of high‑quality, impactful PowerPoint presentations.
  • Proven ability to create, maintain, and optimize effective filing and document‑management systems.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Highly self‑directed, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

 What is Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is a plus.
  • Additional European language skills are a plus.
  • Experience with travel and expense management systems is a plus.
