Excellerate Production Cleaning Lead

The Excellerate Team Lead I is responsible for sustaining a safe work environment, leading a team of employees to assemble a high-quality product and achieve productivity goals as set by the Production Supervisor/Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 3-5 years of manufacturing experience. Two or more years of management experience preferred.

Travel: 10 to 25%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 AM and 6PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.  However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • All previous classification requirements must be continually satisfied.
  • Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Faith Technologies Inc, and customer-specific safety requirements along with immediately identifying, correcting, and/or reporting any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for leading all aspects of production within scope while motivating crew(s) to consistently meet or exceed project goals.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination and assigning of crews to achieve customers’ expectations.
  • Able to convert production drawings to tasks and works with crews to complete them.
  • Attend/Participate in start up meetings and visit job sites if needed.
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to do advanced paperwork (cost transfer, material ordering, performance evaluations, time cards, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Provides direction, training, and mentorship to General Assemblers/Apprentices.
  • Coaches and mentors team members, building them up for success. 
  • Demonstrates ability to run a scope of work/project(s) with a crew of (1-10+) effectively.
  • Encourages others to run a thorough ORM as well as encourage others to identify hazards and eliminate them accordingly.
  •  Lead and influence team members to participate in the implementation of improvement projects.
  • Helps in the creation of manufacturing standards.
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet the production metric goals.
  • Ability to analyze data and appropriately access the top issues and implement countermeasures.
  •  Demonstrates ability to obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively.
  • Demonstrates an eagerness and ability to accept increasing responsibility.
  • Provides technical assistance to other team members as needed.
  • Provides direction, training, and mentorship to General Assemblers/Apprentices.
  • Works as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Cleans and maintains job site/work area and tools.
  • Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
