Results-driven Inventory Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations to ensure accuracy, availability, and compliance across warehouse and distribution activities. Leads inventory control processes including cycle counts, reconciliations, receiving verification, and root-cause analysis of variances. Supervises and develops inventory personnel, enforces SOPs and safety standards, and collaborates with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels and data integrity. Utilizes ERP systems and reporting tools to monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and support audit readiness.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Highschool diploma or GED required. Bachler's degree in operations or business field preferred.

Experience: 5+ years related experience in cycle counting, physical inventories and reconciliation. Must be experienced in receiving, put away, picking, shipping process, FIFO/FEFO methods, and safety/OSHA awareness. Must have supervisor experience with leading a warehouse or inventory teams. Possess knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and can utilize excel and Google sheets for reporting and analysis.

Travel: 0-10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the inventory management system, ensuring data integrity and coordinating system upgrades or enhancements with Purchasing or Inventory Control leadership.
  • Reviews and analyzes inventory reports and ordering patterns, directing team actions to maintain appropriate stock levels and automate replenishment where applicable.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops the inventory team, providing direction for planning, executing, and improving material strategies and daily operational workflows.
  • Partners with cross‑functional teams to evaluate and implement improved methods for material handling, presentation, and inventory control, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Monitors and validate inventory reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to the Materials Manager.
  • Overseas the accuracy of daily receiving and shipping records, verifying team performance and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Ensures consistent stock levels by supervising team activities related to replenishment, rotation, and stock integrity.
  • Supervises order fulfillment activities, ensuring the team accurately pulls, packs, and stages materials in alignment with production or project timelines.
  • Ensures organized, efficient product flow, directing team adherence to proper separation, organization, and rotation of materials.
  • Drives continuous improvement, coaching the team to identify and implement process enhancements that improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Oversee routine spot checks and partial inventory audits, validating findings and guiding corrective actions.
  • Coordinates and leads periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) physical inventory counts, ensuring accuracy, preparedness, and compliance.
  • Ensures proper and safe operation of material‑handling equipment, verifying operator training, adherence to safety standards, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Directs material placement and workflow within assembly and warehouse areas, ensuring efficient layout and material availability.
  • Enforces OSHA and company safety requirements, monitoring team compliance and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Promotes and enforces safety procedures, ensuring consistent adherence across all inventory team activities.
  • Champions 5S standards, ensuring the team maintains a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Supports company hiring and mentoring initiatives, participating in referral programs and assisting with onboarding or coaching inventory personnel.
  • Performs other related supervisory duties as assigned, ensuring operational continuity and team alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned. ​
