Events Intern

The Knoxville Convention Center is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Intern to join our Event Services and Sales department. This role offers a unique "behind-the-scenes" look at the operations of a premier venue. You won’t just be watching; you will be an integral part of the team, learning to bridge the gap between a client’s vision and a flawlessly executed event.

What You Will Learn:

• Strategic Planning: Review and evaluate event plans to ensure feasibility.
• Technical Design: Master the creation of detailed event diagrams and layouts.
• Consultative Skills: Provide professional recommendations to organizers to enhance their event experience.
• Project Management: Lead pre- and post-event briefings and coordinate contractual obligations across multiple departments.
