WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Production Manager, you will lead hardware deployments and serve as the technology expert for all products supported by the TPG Hardware Solutions team. You’ll review partner requests, provide technical and logistics solutions, and communicate standards to stakeholders. Acting as the main point of contact during events, you’ll manage on-site support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate schedules across teams. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, while maintaining clear communication and driving continuous improvement in all processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review partner hardware requests and provide technical and logistics solutions for hardware deployments
- Act as technology and product expert for all products supported by the Hardware Solutions team
- Communicate technical standards and requirements to all stakeholders. These products include but are not limited to:
- First-party hardware and software for Meta, Mac and PCs
- Mobile device management
- Mixed Reality devices/wearable such as Quest and Ray Ban Meta
- Collaborate cross functionally with other workstreams to ensure request goals are met on time and to the highest quality standards
- Provide consistent and clear communication with event/deployment, stakeholders, providing updates and communication in real time via chats, emails, and tasks
- Be responsible for assessing, managing, and mitigating technical and logistical risk throughout the event deployment lifecycle
- Provide on-site support at deployments, activations, and events as the main point of contact and escalation for the deployed technology
- Align technical setup and breakdown schedules for all teams involved
- Provide logistic and inventory management support
- Troubleshooting for hardware, platform, and networking issues
- Manage resources within budget and project scope
- Consistently deliver high quality, high impact services to our partners while building and maintaining vendor support relationships to customer standards
- Maintain an organized and efficient project management workflow, communicate milestones and deadlines, ensure all deadlines are met
- Conduct post-deployment analysis and reporting, including event summaries on internal workplace groups
- Adhere to all SOPs and participate in operational excellence programs dedicated to continuous improvements within workstream
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- 3-5 years of large-scale event planning experience in the technology industry
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve problems with both software and hardware
- Basic knowledge of enterprise networking deployment and protocols
- Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, organization skills, and an ability to lead meetings
- Highly motivated and able to work both independently and cross-functionally with partners and leading support teams on-site at events
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding setting while adapting to rapidly evolving processes and procedures
- Project management skills demonstrating the ability to manage multiple concurrent events
- Proficiency with industry standard collaborative productivity software; G-Suite, LucidChart, MS Office;
- Ability to quickly become a subject matter expert for new technology
- Ability to travel if required (domestically and internationally) - approximately 30% of time
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Strong Work Ethic: A dedicated work ethic is essential for achieving targets and managing client relationships effectively.
- Experience with mixed reality and wearables
- Experience with Asana and inventory management software i
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certifications
