RF Studio 53 is hiring a part-time Events Producer who will be responsible for the creative and logistical planning and execution of events, acting as a key liaison between clients and production teams. This includes managing budgets, hiring and coordinating vendors, and developing detailed timelines and run-of-show documents. On the day of the event, they are on-site to oversee all technical and operational aspects to ensure everything runs smoothly. This role manages projects with budgets up to $500K, ensuring flawless execution across pre-production and the events themselves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted, long-term relationships. 

  • Maintain seamless communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment throughout all project phases. 

  • Anticipate challenges and proactively develop solutions that instill confidence and trust. 

  • Conceptualization & Design: Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to define event objectives, themes, and creative vision.

  • Budget Management: Developing, managing, and reconciling comprehensive event budgets, negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

  • Project Management: Building and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, production schedules, and run-of-show documents.

  • Logistics & Operations: Overseeing all logistical aspects, including venue selection, technical production elements (sound, lighting, staging, AV), permits, insurance, and catering.

  • On-Site Execution: Leading the load-in, show operations, and strike (break-down), troubleshooting problems in real-time, and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in event production or a related field

  • Proven ability to manage projects up to $500K from concept through completion. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills to     coordinate diverse groups of people, from technical crews to high-profile clients

  • Strong knowledge of project management workflows, talent contracts, union/non-union guidelines, and usage rights

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills

  • Financial management experience, including estimating, tracking, and reconciliation. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, or related field preferred

The anticipated hourly range for this position, at the time of posting, is $55 – $75. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications.
