The Events Intern will support executing event order processing from inception to completion, including  maintaining an organized workflow for successful outcomes. Our Event Order fulfillment process includes frequent, proactive, and clear planning communication amongst our Events Team, Sales Executives, Customers, and other internal departments and external vendors, so this position will continually support those efforts. Given the time-sensitive nature of the sales orders this role manages, this candidate must possess strong attention to detail, prioritizing and analytical skills to fulfill expectations.

The ideal candidate for this position is a critical thinker with strong intuition and ability to stay a step ahead of potential issues by being highly organized, detailed oriented and a very good communicator and collaborator. Solution driven with timely responsiveness, thoughtful service and careful attention to detail are at the core of this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Understand all types of Event Experiences offered in order to effectively step in to help and/or offer solutions to our team members, Sales Team and/or Customers
  • Support the review of Event Orders from Sales team and be involved with helping to plan all necessary steps to move the order through our system in the required timeline
  • Communicate clearly and frequently with team members to provide thoughtful and detailed attention to support the business needs  
  • Identify areas of improvement for operational efficiencies to support the continual growth and evolution of our department
  • Identify opportunities to expand our Event experiences to offer customers
  • Assist with exchange requests and fulfillment
  • Meet with other departments whose efforts are tied directly to the success of Event orders

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College education and eventual graduation with Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with order management and order operations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Enjoyment of daily problem-solving
  • Background in or familiarity with Golf Industry or Retail is a plus

Internship Program Overview:
This is a paid, in-person internship based in our Raleigh or Durham offices, running from May 18 through August 7, 2026. Interns are paid $18.25 per hour and will gain hands-on experience by being fully integrated into their respective teams. Throughout the internship, participants will complete a capstone project, collaborate cross-functionally, connect with company leaders and executives, and participate in intern lunch-and-learns and other professional development opportunities.
