This role will be responsible for Embedded Value (EV) business forecasting, cash flow projections and earnings analysis and Group reporting.

  • Actuarial data maintenance and model points generation for EV analysis of movement
  • Monthly reporting of EV related financial KPIs with detailed commentary
  • Quarterly EV reporting and relevant analysis
  • Annual business planning and stress testing exercise
  • Other special projects related to financial management and valuation process transformation
  • Maintains proper documentation and controls in area of responsibility
  • Enhance actuarial reporting process that improves accuracy, control and work efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with other teams for efficient reporting production

Competencies & Personal Traits

  • Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Reporting experience in Actuarial Valuation roles and management of KPIs such as NBP, operating experience variance and operating free surplus generation.
  • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with the team to drive outcomes.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Prophet ALS model, DCS and other data processing / programming language is an advantage.

Working Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience

Professional Qualifications

  • Good progress in actuarial examinations from a recognized professional actuarial body

Education

  • Degree in Actuarial Science or related disciplines (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Finance etc.)
