About This Role

This position interacts with all Fixed Income Etrading Users – using electronic trading and risk platforms like ION, Anvil, Bloomberg and customized Algo solutions – the focus of this role is to develop and implement lasting, robust technology solutions as well as support the existing application and surrounding framework.

Role And Responsibilities

• Supporting & delivering solutions to the firm's Trading & Sales desks in Asia, Europe & North America
• The Analyst will join an experienced team responsible for managing applications that offer risk, trading, and trade capture functionalities to the Business.
• The role will initially involve 2nd line application support responsibilities, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders across the Front & Middle Office, Product Control, Risk Management, Back Office, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams.
• Training will be on the job, but given the nature of the role, the successful candidate is expected to have prior experience to electronic trading technologies and have Capital Markets domain Knowledge. They must have a 'hands-on' attitude and be proactive in enhancing their knowledge.
• Systems and applications comprise vendor and in-house built tools
• Develop ad-hoc reporting tools for all business groups
• This is primarily an onsite position due to the job scope of the role.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years hands on working experience with ION and Bloomberg.
• Experience supporting various trading exchanges.
• Good understanding of electronic trading, markets, connectivity, market making, pricing and algorithmic/automatic trading.
• Front Office / trade floor support experience
• Fixed Income functional knowledge, particularly in treasuries and bond trading
• Experience in supporting front-to-back trading systems and trading desks (example G10, EM)
• Ability to assess trading systems/components to investigate trade breaks, connectivity, data, and performance issues
• Understanding of financial markets and products, in particular Fixed Income markets.
• Must have experience working with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams.
• Working experience with the following technologies: Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, MS SQL, Python
• Willingness to work from 7am to 4pm SGT Tuesday ~ Friday. Rotational shift within team, to start work at 5/5:30 am on Mondays following Sydney DST changes. Rotational On-call, weekend, bank holiday coverage is expected.

Skills Category

• Experience with Solace, Mongo DB, ITRS, Autosys
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure
• Scripting, SQL and/or experience in programming languages such as Python
• Knowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodology, and ITIL
• Computer science or Mathematics degree desired
