The opportunity
You will ensure Planview enables strategy execution end-to-end — from planning and prioritisation through to delivery, financials, resourcing, and OKRs.
About QBE
At QBE, we get to the heart of what matters for our customers. And we do it all with a human touch.
We’re an international insurer with more than 13,000 people working across 26 countries – which means we’re big enough for your ambitions, yet small enough for you to make a real impact. It’s an exciting time. We’re building momentum towards our vision to become the most consistent and innovative risk partner.
What if you could have a positive impact – at work and in the world? As part of the QBE team, you’ll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind.
Your new role
Sitting within the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), this role acts as the enterprise owner and SME for Planview process architecture as the platform transitions from design into enterprise-wide rollout and continuous evolution. You will work closely with senior business, finance, data, and technology stakeholders to ensure Planview is optimised, governed, and embedded as a core system of record across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Act as the enterprise SME and design authority for Planview process architecture, owning process roadmaps and standards.
Design, maintain, and evolve end-to-end portfolio, demand, investment, and delivery processes within Planview.
Own the post-go-live evolution of the platform, including optimisation, configuration decisions, and assessment of monthly software updates.
Partner with ETO, divisional leaders, Finance, Data, and Technology teams to align business requirements, integrations, and data flows (e.g. Jira, Oracle, Workday).
Shape the early stages of programmes and initiatives to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and investment priorities.
Establish and embed enterprise governance for how Planview is used across group and divisions, balancing consistency with local needs.
About you
You are a senior transformation or platform architect who has operated at enterprise scale, with strong experience owning portfolio processes and platforms rather than simply using them. You are comfortable working hands-on while engaging confidently with executive stakeholders, and you bring a strong understanding of how strategy, investment, finance, and delivery intersect.
Demonstrated experience owning process architecture within an Enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (EPPM) environment.
Hands-on experience with Planview (or a comparable enterprise portfolio platform), including workflows, governance, and lifecycle management.
Strong understanding of portfolio management, financials (actuals, forecasting), and resource management in a transformation context.
Experience working within or alongside an Enterprise Transformation Office, PMO, or strategy function.
Proven ability to advise and influence senior and executive stakeholders across business, finance, and technology.
Experience operating in a large, complex organisation with significant investment in change and enterprise platforms.
