Job Description:

As an ETL Developer for GDIT you will be responsible for development and maintenance of the process to import, standardize, adjudicate and deliver claims data in support of the Trusted third Party mission of Fraud Waste and Abuse in support of Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services(CMS) Center for Program Integrity (CPI) fighting Fraud Waste and Abuse.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  •  Design, code, test, debug, document, and implement changes to new and existing solutions
  • Validate incoming data submissions
  • Perform unit testing of code to assure the delivery of a product that meets the user's specifications
  • Provides technical advice to technical leads, assisting them with high level planning and cost justifications
  • Leads project efforts, ensuring project requirements and timelines are met
  • Work with the end user analysts developing the requirements of the Data Warehouse solution
  • Work with Business analysts to validate processes of test cases
  • Maintain documentation related to the data pipeline, quality procedures and business rules, workflows, source to target mappings and architectural diagrams

WHAT YOU'LL NEED (required):

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of technical experience
  • Experience in data manipulation language, preferably Python and SQL programming or other high level languages
  • Experience working as a member of a Scrum development team
  • Must be able to work closely with all project stakeholders
  • A demonstrated ability to learn and acquire new technologies as needed

WHAT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER (preferred):

  • Masters degree
  • 25+ years of technical experience
  • Previously supported CMS CPI
  • Healthcare Data modeling, understanding of data structures
  • Claims processing knowledge
  • Code repositories i.e. git

The likely salary range for this position is $63,240 - $85,560. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
