Job Description & Summary

We are seeking a Senior Associate Atlassian Developer with 4 years of experience in Application Support Domain, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating and integrating Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence, as well as managing these products to ensure robust level 3 support.
You will be an essential member of a team that reports to the Cloud Service Delivery Director and will be a key contributor to the team based in Cairo. Additionally, you will support client transformation programs across the PwC Global Network, including the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany.

As a Senior Associate Atlassian Developer, you will:

  • Develop and maintain automation and integration solutions for Atlassian products, adhering to the highest standards

  • Manage Jira Projects and Confluence Spaces on both Cloud and self-hosted versions

  • Develop and maintain Power BI data models and reports, integrate them with Atlassian tools as well as analyzing data.

  • Write and maintain custom scripts, and automate workflows and processes using ScriptRunner for Jira.

  • Configure and customize Tempo Timesheets, Planner, and Budgets, develop custom reports and dashboards using Tempo data and integrate Tempo with Jira.

  • Handle daily tickets and requests on both Jira and Confluence, including creating new Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, and Confluence Spaces for Level 3 Support

  • Collaborate closely with support engineers, developers, architects, and project managers within our organization
     

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 4 years of experience in automation, integration, and support of Atlassian products

  • Proficiency in managing Atlassian products, particularly Jira and Confluence

  • Familiarity with application support tools and methodologies

  • Experience with Power BI, Script Runner and Tempo

  • Experience with scripting and automation tools

  • Knowledge of IT service management and agile methodologies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in English
     

Desirable:

  • Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP-620) Managing Jira Cloud Projects Certification or Similar Atlassian Certification

Education:
University
Bachelors education in a Computer Science/ IT / Communications Engineering
