Job Description

The Brinks Company is looking for an Ethics & Compliance Program Manager . This position will collaborate closely and directly support the Global Head of Ethics & Compliance and will be a key contributor to the strategic development of the Global Ethics & Compliance Team and its Program.

  

This position will require a professional who can handle highly confidential information and data, exercise discretion and professional judgment, and work independently with limited supervision or prescribed procedures.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Create key Ethics & Compliance visibility materials, including executive presentations, board materials, and other key stakeholder materials
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Ethics & Compliance to create team workplans and accountability practices
  • Serve as record keeper for the Ethics & Compliance Council and Ethics & Compliance Team
  • Partner with the Global Head of Ethics & Compliance to create and execute global visibility activities, including designing training, identifying topics for Team communications, etc.
  • Work with the Global Head of Ethics & Compliance to create the Team budget and track actual vs. projected spend
  • Manage key databases and processes, extracting data and providing analysis for the Global Ethics & Compliance Team
  • Support Ethics & Compliance Team tools to streamline new or existing practices
  • Develop and drive improved compliance with processes/policies and optimize workflows within the Ethics & Compliance Team department
  • Maintenance and support of Ethics & Compliance Team collaboration and intranet sites

Additional duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performance of special and ongoing projects or initiatives, to include working independently or within a team
  • Preparing, drafting and/or editing correspondence, reports, analyses and other communications and data, often of a highly confidential nature
  • Organizing and maintaining such filing systems as are deemed necessary
  • Other duties as needed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • B.A. or B.S. preferred; minimum 60 hours college credit
  • 5+ years of experience in a legal or ethics and compliance role
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups as well as external stakeholders to set objectives and produce results
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Support ad hoc projects within the team as they arise
  • High level of diplomacy and tact, ensuring confidentiality of information when required
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks/deadlines and effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, determined, and able to work under own initiative
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Comfort with data analytics and learning new systems
