Estimator

What You'll Be Doing

Job Summary: The Estimator will be responsible for preparing complete, accurate estimates for all onsite changes and pricing requests.  

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Works directly under the Project Manager and/or Senior Estimator and is responsible for helping ensure the project is successful.

• Review plans, specifications and other drawings, as updated, for changes.

• Provide accurate take-offs

• Work with the estimating and project teams to build estimates and pricing.

• Develop preliminary schedules for changes.

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred and/or a minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience with steel erection or industrial millwright.

• Must be detail oriented and familiar with systems both manual and electronic.

• Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.

• Must be mathematically and computer literate.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project/Primavera P6.

Physical Requirements

• Overtime is required as needed.

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on occasion.

• All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
