Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Estimating Coordinator in USA, Fontana Ca.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, Estimating Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the estimating department during the bid-out process.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Appropriately files and maintains all electronic & paper copies of bid documents: including receiving, distributing and updating as necessary; all drawings, specifications and any pertinent information for bids in a timely manner.
  • Follows procedures for proper storage and destruction of bid documents.
  • Organizes and maintains the company’s bid log and tracks the status of bids.
  • Attends daily and weekly estimating department meetings; takes meeting notes and updates bid log accordingly.
  • Reviews customer bill of materials for relay panels that has been transferred by our team to our Excel template; ensures it matches customers original bill of materials.
  • Verifies vendor quotes for parts listed on panel project bill of materials; ensures pricing, item descriptions, and quantity match vendor quotes, BOM, and customer requirements.
  • Submit RFI’s for part issues as needed and follow up with customers to ensure requested information is received in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects while meeting required deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

What the physical requirements are:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to traverse the production floor as needed.
  • Must be able to work full time in office.

Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$16.74 USD - $23.02 USD Hourly
