What We Do

Supports and manages the day-to-day operations of an escrow team within the Vacation Ownership Services division. Responsible for establishing, streamlining, and managing processes, procedures, and programs related to closing vacation ownership transactions including resale, ownership transfer, deed-back transactions (real and personal property) and issuing title insurance in accordance with divisional guidelines.

Partners with and acts as a liaison between internal teams and external clients to ensure compliance, policy adherence, production goals, and service level expectations are met. Ensures employee conformance to established practices and proper training of staff in a high-volume, multi-state transactional environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manages the daily operating activities of the escrow department to deliver high quality service for within established timeframes
  • Oversees workflows related to escrow transactions, including document preparation, recording coordination, escrow handling, and client-specific requirements
  • Ensures team adherence to multi-state recording requirements, document standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Acts as a point of escalation for complex or non-routine transactions, including exception handling and client-specific requests
  • Collaborates with internal partners (Accounting, Developer, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure smooth transaction flow and issue resolution
  • Participates in the development and execution of operational plans, including process improvements and efficiency initiatives
  • Builds, implements, and refines processes within company systems to support evolving business needs and client expectations
  • Reviews workflows for compliance, accuracy, and efficiency, including quality assurance and adherence to service level agreements
  • Develops and coaches team members, ensuring proper training and alignment with departmental goals
  • Manages work activities and operations of a large functional area or department
  • Provides direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Partners with senior leadership to align departmental goals with broader divisional strategies

What You'll Bring

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop talent and drive accountability
  • Strong operational and process management skills; detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills in a client-facing environment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume setting
  • Experience in escrow operations, with preference for vacation ownership, resale/transfer, or title-related transactions
  • Working knowledge of multi-state recording requirements, document preparation, and closing processes
  • Understanding of resale, transfer, and title workflows within a high-volume transactional environment
  • Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, OneNote, Teams) and ability to learn proprietary systems
  • Experience with or ability to learn First American operating systems and tools (including CoPilot and Chat platforms)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in escrow, title, or transactional operations environments
  • Experience working in multi-state or complex transactional environments preferred

Pay Range: $77,300.00 - $103,000.00 Annually

 

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
