Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee major components of structural erection activities, including scheduling, budgeting, logistics, and safety compliance
- Interpret and apply permanent/temporary structural designs, construction methodologies, and equipment manuals to field execution
- Supervise and monitor all erection operations to ensure adherence to approved engineering documents, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate erection of superstructures and precast elements (e.g., viaduct segments, spines) while maintaining progress and sequence alignment
- Review engineering drawings, method statements, rigging studies, and equipment requirements to validate constructability and efficiency
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, local authorities, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and project alignment
- Resolve unexpected technical challenges through sound engineering judgment and practical on‑site solutions
- Ensure strict compliance with quality control processes, safety standards, environmental requirements, and documentation procedures
Qualifications:
- University degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
- Experience in similar erection, structural, or heavy‑civil engineering roles, ideally in multicultural and international project environments
- Strong understanding of structural erection methods, rigging, equipment planning, and construction sequencing
- Solid knowledge of construction scheduling, cost estimating, contract requirements, and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Familiarity with labour costs, material uses, construction techniques, and industry safety legislation
- Ability to organize complex activities, coordinate diverse teams, and maintain oversight of technical processes
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify risks, propose solutions, and manage evolving project needs
Compensation
$68,000.00 - $93,500.00
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
