What is the opportunity?
As an Equity Order Management Analyst within RBC Capital Markets' BCS function, you will provide critical support to our Capital Markets and Wealth Management businesses. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our order and trade processing operations globally. You will analyze and resolve order and trade breaks, administer multiple applications, investigate complex issues, drive process improvements, and support key operational initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in trade and order management, while working across multiple business lines globally and collaborating with traders, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
What will you do?
Administer precise data for trading and reporting applications
Analyze and resolve erroneous order and trade processing
Effectively deal with business partners in the analysis of issue experienced and solutioning
Effectively manage to system outages and coordinate responses to minimize business impact
Determine needs and suggest solutions for improvements in procedures, processes or systems to support various functions
Assist in project work involving customization or alterations of technical tools to support unusual or new business requirements by gathering requirements, facilitating between the Businesses and the Development teams, and participating in testing
Primary responsibilities:
Support of Capital Markets and Wealth Management order and trade flows
Investigate trade queries from internal clients, traders, and other departments
Daily analysis of erroneous orders and trades
Ensure integrity of systems data
Ensure processes and procedures are set and followed
Ensure completion of reconciliations and reviews
Daily input, update, and correction of orders and trades
Project work: design and review implementation approaches, raise issues and provide potential solutions, UAT testing, implementation, and production testing

Order and trade flow knowledge and experience
Excellent communication and written skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, market conditions, and coverage requirements
Ability to handle stress and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and collaborative approach to continuous improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Required: Canadian Securities Course. Conduct and Practices Handbook and Trader Training Course are preferred. Successful candidates must complete all three courses within their first year.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
