Job Description

  

Build and test innovative electro-mechanical systems! Teledyne is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic components. In this role, you’ll work from engineering drawings and test procedures to ensure product performance and reliability.

What you’ll do

  • Assemble and modify mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components for industrial equipment, servosystems, and measuring instruments.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair products or perform preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate final assembly of units or systems, connecting valves, pumps, controls, cabling, and instruments.
  • Set up and conduct tests under operational conditions to evaluate performance and reliability.
  • Analyze test results and make adjustments or modifications to meet specifications.
  • Record test procedures, results, and recommendations for product or process improvements.

What you need

  • High school diploma and vocational or technical training (required).
  • 2–5 years of directly related experience in assembly and testing (required).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong math skills, including algebra and geometry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with LabView for data collection (preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required).

Salary Range:

$37,200.00-$49,600.000
