Position Summary
We are seeking a Non-Hazardous Raw Materials Management Professional to manage materials such as raw wafers, targets, pads, and related consumables in support of manufacturing operations. This role ensures material availability, inventory accuracy, and timely material flow to prevent production disruptions while partnering closely with other stakeholders. The position supports operational KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives across materials and warehouse operations.Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For
Excellent understanding of supply chain management principles and ability to apply statistical and quantitative methods to optimize inventory; establish metrics and KPIs to monitor success.
Manage day-to-day materials management activities for non-hazardous raw materials including, but not limited to, raw wafers, targets, pads, and related consumables to ensure uninterrupted support to manufacturing operations.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain target days-of-supply, prevent material shortages or overstock conditions, and support business continuity for fab operations.
Coordinate and schedule inbound, outbound, and inter-site shipments of non-hazardous raw materials, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with production and end-user requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for non-hazardous raw material movement, acting as a liaison between Procurement, logistics service providers, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor material movement from shipment through receipt, investigate discrepancies, shortages, or damages, and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions to closure.
Provide operational oversight of non-hazardous raw material logistics, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), handling requirements, and quality expectations.
Utilize ERP and other Samsung systems to support materials planning, tracking, inventory accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and reporting.
Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to inventory health, delivery performance, and material availability to support department goals.
Support KPI tracking, reporting, and data analysis related to non-hazardous materials management, logistics performance, and supplier reliability.
Participate in cross-functional task forces and continuous improvement initiatives as a non-hazardous raw materials subject matter expert.
Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities related to non-hazardous raw material logistics and develop projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance material flow.
Execute lean process improvement projects to refine systems and workflows for current non-hazardous raw material support operations, delivering improvements within defined timelines.
Exercise independent judgment when managing exceptions, priority changes, or ambiguous situations, escalating issues as appropriate.
Support specialized or high-value shipments, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and coordination.
Benchmark logistics and materials management best practices to support continuous improvement.
Perform other responsibilities as needed to support materials management and logistics operations.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business related field required.
Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain with at least one year in inventory and supply chain management.
APICS CPIM or CSCP a plus.
Experience with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) or international logistics strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Skilled in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Advanced Excel data analysis skills.
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills; effective communication.
Ability to analyze large volumes of data and provide issue resolution to closure.
Highly detail-oriented; delivers products as promised.
Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization.
Excellent critical thinking skills; recognize third and fourth order effects of a catalyst event.
Solid problem solving and analytical skills; recognize friction points and resolve delays in material delivery.
Ability to take a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and achieving results.
SAP Material Management a plus.

The current base salary range for this role is between $57,760 - $156,950. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
