Job Summary: You will serve as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist in the Chief Human Capital Office of NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator identifying and recommending policy changes and practices that are barriers to EEO.
  • You will interpret the Federal EEO laws, policies and regulations and develop implementing instructions for command level programs.
  • You will implement instructions for administration of a discrimination complaint process for individual/class complaints based on knowledge of laws and Federal regulations.
  • You will recommend policy and guidance for all command EEO program functional assignments, and assist in the development/implementation of EEO training for employee orientation, special awareness programs and management/supervisory training.
  • You will maintain automated databases and systems to meet the needs of the activity; utilize and manipulate EXCEL, ACCESS, EEO databases and prepare soft copy EEO reports.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing duties that include the following: Recommend program objectives and implement innovative programs to achieve a harmonious and balanced environment throughout the workforce. Implement instruction for administration of a discrimination process for individual/class complaints using knowledge of laws and federal regulations. Develop and implement Reasonable Accommodation (RA) plans as the RA Coordinator and provide guidance in the discrimination complaint process. Identify practices that are barriers to equal employment opportunity (EEO) to recommend policy and guidance for all EEO program functional assignments. Develop, analyze, and advise on statistical data related to the civilian workforce and individuals with disabilities.
