Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager (Level 5) to join the Fighters Development Program Management team in Berkeley, Missouri.

The Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) v2 Program Manager will lead the EPAWSS(V)2 Foreign Military Sale Portfolio. This portfolio contains a set of programs conducting Hardware (HW) development, Software (SW)/Firmware development, ongoing redesign and platform integration efforts across various levels of classification. The program manager will coordinate and be accountable to requirements and program execution for multiple contracted activities with various customer relationships in the F-15 Systems Program Office (SPO).

The PM will be responsible for working directly with SPO program offices, teaming with other Development Program leaders in the Air Dominance (AD) portfolio and closely working with cross functional teams to drive execution making customer priorities ours. The ideal candidate will work under minimal supervision, be biased towards action, find solutions, collaborate respectfully, and enable the rest of the team to meet their commitments. Program management best practices combined with strong discipline, superb communication skills, and constructive engagement with all levels of organization (internal and with suppliers & customers) are key to success in this position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads development of the program architecture and top level plans for a program
  • Develops program organizational, work structures, top level program and execution plans
  • Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers
  • Facilitates the resolution of program issues
  • Supports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics
  • Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices
  • Implements customer and program communication and contact plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • More than 1 year of experience working directly with executives or senior leaders
  • More than 3 years of work experience leading or managing cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 1 year of experience in Program Management or IPT Leadership including cost, schedule and technical management
  • More than 1 year of experience in implementation of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Lean+/10X.
  • Do you have experience working with software development, technical architecture or working with or managing enabling capabilities
  • More than 1 year of experience working on United States Air Force (USAF) contracts
  • More than 1 year of experience 1

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $157,250 - $212,750
