The EOR Engineer Supervisor is responsible for driving business growth and operational excellence by leveraging technical expertise in chemical treatment applications, troubleshooting, and maintenance strategies, while effectively managing customer relationships. This person will ensure the successful implementation of sales processes and tools to acquire new accounts and expand existing ones, deliver value-added proposals, and proactively communicate performance indicators. Additionally, the role focuses on optimizing equipment reliability, inventory management, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards to guarantee uninterrupted operations and achieve business objectives
Main Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced knowledge in the application and troubleshooting of all chemical-influenced treatments, systems, and processes to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Efficiently interpret bidding documents and provide high-quality, value-added information that enhances proposals and differentiates solutions.
- Interpret laboratory analyses of water, crude oil, BrightWater activation, gel formation, etc., and make decisions based on these results.
- Understand Reservoir and Petroleum Engineering concepts to identify customer issues related to C-EOR.
- Understand pumping units and associated tasks, such as connecting the pumping unit to the wellbore and upgrading injection systems.
- Be able to understand high-pressure pumping units (pressure varies between 2,500–3,000 psi) and injection ratios (e.g., 1 bbl/min or 1,500 bbls/day).
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for complex systems, manage equipment lifecycle, spare parts planning, and apply reliability-centered maintenance principles.
- Use CMMS tools effectively, interpret OEM manuals, and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities.
- Manage laboratory and chemical inventory with precision, ensuring accurate stock control, safe handling, and compliance with HSE standards, while maintaining uninterrupted operations through efficient planning and documentation.
- Maturely apply expertise in the sales process and leverage tools such as PROact and BR to acquire new accounts and expand existing ones.
- Clearly and concisely share relevant PROact elements, and timely report both lagging and leading indicators to guide actions toward achieving objectives.
- Manage performance dashboards: Utilize account dashboards to monitor indicators, provide reporting, and direct stakeholders to meet business and metric targets.
- Accountable for the integrity of business processes related to finished goods inventory replenishment and new product introductions.
- Acts as a corporate resource, providing support on task forces, acquisition studies, and other major project support as needed.
- Effectively develop formal and informal networks inside and outside the customer organization to foster trust and collaboration.
- Builds and enables high-performing teams.
- Empowers subordinates through training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals, and delegation to ensure the development of people and organizational capabilities.
- Responsible for developing and executing the site succession plan.
- Attend customer meetings and calls to understand overall field operation issues.
- Review, write, and present business and technical reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering.
- 8+ years of EOR Operations or related experience
- 5+ years of supervisory management experience
- No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity
- Experience in CI methodology
