We’re seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across LeoLabs’ global radar infrastructure.
This individual will be thesubject matter expert (SME)for workplace health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring compliance with WHS/OHS and environmental regulations across diverse international sites. The ideal candidate will be aself-starter, capable of operatingautonomouslyin a distributed team and comfortable workingacross global time zones.
You will lead strategic initiatives, conduct trend analysis to measure program effectiveness and safety, and drive a strong culture of safety, accountability, and sustainability worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as LeoLabs’EHS SME, overseeing all global safety and environmental systems
· Ensure compliance with WHS/OHS laws and environmental regulations across all radar sites
· Develop and execute EHS strategies aligned withISO 45001(safety) andISO 26000(environmental responsibility)
· Lead training, awareness, and continuous improvement programs for staff, contractors, and visitors
· Conduct and analyzeEHS performance trendsto assess impact before and after program changes
· Oversee hazard identification, risk assessments, and maintenance of global risk registers
· CoordinateRF exposure surveysand implement appropriate mitigations (signage, barriers, exclusion zones)
· Manage environmental programs for hazardous materials, waste management, and sustainable practices
· Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations with root cause and corrective actions
· Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Construction teams to embed safety into all project phases
· Support safety and environmental input for bids, contracts, and new site selection
· Provide data-driven EHS metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree inOccupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
· 7+ yearsmanaging EHS programs for industrial, infrastructure, defense, or mission-critical environments
· Expertise inISO 45001andISO 26000standards; experience implementing or auditing management systems
· Strong understanding ofglobal WHS/OHS legislationand multi-jurisdictional compliance
· Proven ability towork independentlyand manage complex programs acrossglobal teams and time zones
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong reporting and documentation capability
· Demonstrated ability to performtrend and impact analysisto inform EHS strategies and decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in radar, defense, telecommunications, or infrastructure environments
· Knowledge ofRF safety management(HERP, HERO, HERF assessments)
· Experience managing WHS acrossremote or international sites
· Familiarity withconstruction safetyand commissioning processes
· Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%)
Preferred Certifications
· Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
· Chartered Professional Member (CMIOSH or equivalent)
· ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification
· NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
· Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)orEnvironmental Professional (EP)

1 Month: Complete onboarding; assess existing EHS documentation and identify improvement priorities
3 Months: Establish baseline risk registers and EHS metrics; implement RF safety procedures
6 Months: Roll out updated global EHS policies, training, and audits
12 Months: Achieve full operational compliance and measurable improvement in global safety performance
