Job Description:

Parsons is looking for  Environmental Engineer to join our Facility Management team on the Qiddiya program!

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability within the project scope. You will oversee environmental assessments, monitoring, and implementation of best practices to align with regulatory standards and project requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct environmental assessments and studies to identify potential impacts and risks.

  • Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

  • Develop and implement environmental management plans and mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.

  • Prepare detailed environmental reports and documentation for management and regulatory review.

  • Ensure proper waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation measures are in place.

  • Provide technical guidance and training on environmental policies and procedures.

  • Respond to environmental incidents and emergencies, ensuring effective resolutions.

  • Stay updated on environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering (or a related field).

  • Typically 8+ years of related work experience in environmental engineering and compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and developing management plans.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Familiarity with environmental software and tools is preferred.
