Job Summary

This position’s primary role will be in aiding the development, execution, and evaluation of the annual enterprise resilience exercise schedule. Additionally, position consults assigned Business Units (BUs) and Operating Companies in the execution of business continuity and emergency preparedness activities. Aids the enterprise in assessing business processes, in conducting business impact analysis or other risk assessments, in developing business continuity and response plans, and in designing and evaluating of tests, training, and exercises. Individuals must have an ability to analyze a range of tactical problems with moderate guidance and direction, an ability to communicate effectively using appropriate tools and processes, and an ability to remain flexible and adaptable to changing environments or stressful situations. This position is part of a 24/7 on-call team for support during corporate emergencies using Incident Command System principles.

What You’ll Do:

  • Aid in the design, execution, and evaluation of tests, training, and exercises to ensure corporate readiness.
  • Assist in executing corrective actions identified for Enterprise Resilience lessons learned and assists in monitoring implementation of corrective actions for assigned Business Units and Operating Companies.
  • Aid in development and maintenance of business continuity and emergency management processes, procedures, and templates for consistent implementation by Business Units and Operating Companies Support mid-level or detailed-level risk assessments in accordance with Risk Management processes and procedures, assisting in the identification of gaps in response and recovery capabilities.
  • Support assigned Business Units and Operating Companies to align with Enterprise Resilience program standards (e.g., Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, Hazard-Specific or Functional Incident Response Plans).
  • Provide content management of Enterprise Resilience documents in approved technology and repositories (e.g., enterprise program, Business Unit/Operating Company - specific plans).
  • Execute corporate support responsibilities as directed by supervisor or on-call Crisis Response Coordinator during Corporate emergencies and activations.
  • Aid evaluation of real-world events as directed, collecting and analyzing response and recovery data.
  • Provides input to key success measures for assigned Business Units and Operating Companies and assists in creation of materials to support reporting on Enterprise Resilience Program Health and Maturity.
  • Assist in implementation of business continuity and crisis management activities and improvement initiatives.

*This position is posted in a range. The final grade and compensation offered will be determined based on the successful candidate's education, experience, certifications and relevant skills. The minimum qualifications below are for Enterprise Resilience Analyst

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in emergency management, information technology, or related fields such as business, communications, and instructional design and minimum of three (3) years of work experience in business continuity, emergency management, risk management, field operations or related fields (such as information technology infrastructure or disaster recovery).

  • Associate degree in emergency management, information technology, or related fields such as business, communications, and instructional design and minimum of five (5) years of experience in the fields above or in related/relevant field.

  • High school diploma/GED and minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the fields above or in related/relevant fields OR:
  • High school diploma/GED and certifications and minimum of six (6) years of experience in the fields above or in related/relevant fields.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certification in business continuity or emergency management is desired (e.g., Associate Business Continuity Professional, Certified Business Continuity Professional, Certified Emergency Manager)

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work extended hours with little or no advanced notice, work off-hours and be called back to work due to for significant business disruptions or corporate emergencies.

  • Basic understanding of Incident Command System (ICS) roles and responsibilities, the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) National Response Framework.

  • Basic understanding of industry standards outlining best practices for business continuity and emergency management programs.

  • Ability to analyze a range of tactical problems with an understanding of issues related to the decision-making process.

  • Ability to execute productive solutions with moderate level of guidance and direction.

  • Strong interpersonal skills when building relationships with internal stakeholders Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs using appropriate tools and processes.

Compensation Range:

$85,081.00-106,352.50 USD

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
