The Engineering Technician supports engineering projects by performing basic technical assignments under the direction of an engineer. This role conducts technical research, completes calculations, assists with design and testing activities, organizes technical data, and prepares reports for engineer review—all while maintaining dependable on-site attendance, collaborating effectively with coworkers, and assisting customers as needed, including during pre production phases.
- Perform basic technical assignments under the direction and supervision of an engineer
- Search, investigate and select technical reference data pertinent to a project
- Make calculations employing mathematical formulas
- May provide technical assistance in the area of design, layout and detail drawing, material procurement, construction and testing of experimental models
- Compile and organize technical data and prepare reports for evaluation by the engineers in charge
- Duties consist mainly of closely supervised assignments in direct support of the engineer, usually in a specific field requiring the application of basic technical fundamentals.

Salary Range:
$52,800 - $74,250
