What We’re Looking For:

A proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Supervisor who will lead the engineering team in maintaining property assets to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee daily operations, manage preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulatory requirements. From supervising staff and coordinating training to monitoring energy consumption and supporting ADA compliance, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and direct daily operations of the engineering team to ensure optimal performance.

  • Assign work orders and monitor completion for accuracy and quality.

  • Address maintenance-related guest concerns in collaboration with department heads.

  • Complete necessary mechanical, electrical, equipment, wall, and other maintenance repairs as necessary in collaboration with team members.

  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs to meet safety and operational standards.

  • Train, coach, and evaluate engineering staff to enhance skills and performance.

  • Ensure compliance with ADA requirements and maintain inspection checklists.

  • Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies to optimize efficiency.

  • Manage equipment and supply inventory to support daily operations.

  • Conduct periodic inspections of property assets to ensure maintenance meets standards.

  • Administer key control, tool control, and security-related maintenance procedures.

  • Coordinate with Security to maintain locking systems and sensitive equipment.

  • Attend departmental and hotel-wide meetings to align with operational goals.

  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and hotel policies.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Your Experience Includes:

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in engineering or maintenance. Supervisor experience is preferred.

  • Completion of courses in engineering or maintenance preferred.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

  • Familiarity with basic tools, electrical systems, air conditioning units, and pumps.

  • Ability to repair or replace PVC and copper piping, including soldering.

  • Capable of basic equipment repairs (e.g., pump and motor replacement).

  • Systems KnowledgeWorking knowledge of engineering computer programs related to preventive maintenance, energy management, and system controls.

  • Physical RequirementsAbility to bend, lift (up to 75 pounds), and stoop. Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.

  • Customer Service & LeadershipStrong customer-service orientation and hospitality skills. Ability to train and mentor junior engineers (e.g., Engineer I, Engineer II, Engineer III).​ Capable of performing Engineer-on-Duty responsibilities, including facility readings and rounds.

Proficiency in at least one of the following areas, with above-average skills in two and basic knowledge in the rest:
