DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will work within the Engineering team, reporting directly to the Supervisor, managing and implementing complex projects within the Monza plant.
Specifically, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop engineering activities to identify, evaluate, and propose suitable and reliable technical solutions, in compliance with required quality and safety standards.
- Develop technical and economic feasibility studies for assigned projects.
- Ensure the development and proper management of engineering documentation throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate with all relevant company functions to define project requirements, ensuring the correct translation of requirements into technical specifications and relevant documentation.
- Manage assigned projects, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and budgets, and ensuring ongoing monitoring of progress and management of any deviations or corrective actions.

- Manage supplier relationships for requests for quotations and evaluate the offers' compliance with requirements, aligning them technically, in order to proceed with issuing POs.

- Coordinate project activities by supporting external vendors and internal resources.

- Manage communication with vendors and internal resources regarding the progress of assigned projects by organizing alignment and review meetings.

- Manage related actions under their responsibility for Change Control and CAPA.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Advanced Degree with experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering or related field
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
• Excellent financial acumen including budget management, forecasting, and revenue tracking
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work effectively at all organizational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision making
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks proactively
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines
• English language proficiency required for collaboration
• 10% travel may be required based on business needs
• Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization methodologies
